1.) What should I wear? |
Here in Florida, it can get very hot, humid, and muggy. You may be tempted to wear shorts and a T-Shirt… This is the biggest mistake you can make. Wearing this will only leave open skin exposed to the paintball hits, causing pain and bleeding. The best things to wear are a pair of long pants, Comfortable shoes or boots to run in and a long sleeve shirt ( NOT A SWEAT SHIRT). Since it is hot here, You can wear a t-shirt to wear in between games and slip on a long sleeve shirt over it for playing. Wear clothes that are loose fitting, comfortable to run around in, made of a breathable material, and something that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or destoyed. It is advised that women wear extra padding around their chest, you can also wear a safety vest (a paintball proof vest instead of bullet-proof vest), but most of the time it is not necessary. |

1.) What should I bring to the field? |
There are a few things that you should absolutely bring with you to the Paintball Field. A.) Bring plenty of water so that you don’t get dehydrated. Sports drinks work well too. We try to have water available for sale in the hotter months in case you run out. B.) Bring bug-spray so you don’t get eaten alive. We do have mosquito’s, chiggers, ticks, & no-see-ums at the paintball field. Use of a 40% or higher DEET containing product appears to work the best. C.) There is a port-a-potty at the field, but there is no running water, so you may want to bring wet-naps, baby wipes, paper towels, etc… to clean your hands, face, etc… D.) Rags - You may want to bring lots of rags to wipe off sweat, paint, etc… You can usually buy a 10pack of rags at the dollar store. Don’t buy the red ones, they tend to bleed all over the rest of the laundry! If you don’t have or forget something, don’t worry there are plenty of people around to help out and let you borrow things. |

1.) I don’t have an ID Card, can I still get on base to play? Will you sponsor me and my friends on base to play? |
If you have any friends with a military ID Card, you can ask them to bring you out to the field or sponsor you on base, but we cannot sponsor you if we do not know you. We are currently working on finding a way to make it easier for the general public to come out and play, but as of right now, there are too many problems with it, legally speaking.

There is no easy way to answer this question. There are several factors as to if it hurts. It all Depends on if the safety rules are followed, if you are wearing the proper attire, and depending on were you get hit - It may not hurt at all, or it may really sting! If you get hit on your safety mask, you more than likely will not feel a thing, but if you get hit on your arm, leg, any body part that is not covered by hard plastic, it will hurt. The pain is not that bad, it has been compared to a “Charlie Horse” or a “Wasp Sting”, the pain is temporary is only lasts a few minutes. Usually if you are having fun, the only thing you feel after getting hit, is the desire to get back on the field and exact revenge on the person that shot you! IF, However, Safety rules are not followed and you are not wearing the proper attire - you can & will end up with a nasty bruise. |
